That is the best word I can say to describe what I am feeling after finding this amazing blog.
Amazing.
The food is fun food, not practical food. I have not found a single recipe where I stop and think, "This is what I want for dinner tonight," which is what I usually look for. The truth is, if I ate all these recipes I would have to spend a LOT more time in the gym. Instead, I have found a bunch that give me ideas of things to do on rainy days or with my students. I may not be the best at the creative cooking thing, but I will take this as inspiration to get better with it.
She can make her own Cheez-its, for crying out loud!

OMG you are cracking me up!!! Guilty as charged...not a single practical thing. Well there *is* guacamole - my favorite dip in the world. :) Being a stay at home mom my mind just goes places I guess. I have always loved baking up special treats for others...my husband's coworkers get most of my goodies. ;) Thank you so so so much for your kind kind words! ReplyDeleteI still cannot get over the Cheez-its thing. Seriously. WHO DOES THAT? Oh yeah, Katrina does. It is like the first time I saw someone whip up some mayonaise from scratch... I thought some things were only possible in large factories ;) As a third grade teacher, I am IN LOVE with this food. Wait -- as a HUMAN I am in love with this food!
ReplyDeleteOkay, THe Cheez-Its things is killing me too. I have to have them. Now. Funny thing is, I did immediately think, 'wait, do I have the all the ingredients?' And I do, except for that cool cutter, and I have a feeling it just wouldn't be the same if it they have those fancy edges! lol
